Toasted stoneware clay ~ fine grog

Suggested firing temperature : 1150 - 1260°c

A fine toasted stoneware clay made from selected fireclay with additions of etruria marl. These red clay additions improve the plasticity giving good throwing and handling characteristics and also produce the warm, light brown toasted colour. Toasted Stoneware also has fine grog content giving extra strength.

I would always advise to test how your clays and glazes interact with each other but I know this clay to work well with Duncan and Gare glazes.
