Cone 6 Transparent Matte Glaze really is transparent and matte at the same time. The surface can only be truly appreciated in person. When you hold this glaze tile in your hand you won't be able to stop rubbing it. It has a smooth, almost waxy surface that works well with functional and sculptural work. We are so pleased with this glaze we have build a whole series around it: The Sea Glass Series. Yes, the worlds first cone 6 transparent matte glaze series.
We recommend applying by dipping or spraying, but brushing will also work. If brushing, consider adding a bit of brushing medium to the glaze first.
